Traidcraft has developed these pages so you can choose to create a special place to remember someone important in your life.  We know losing someone you love can leave you needing to find a way to hold onto precious memories. Your page will provide a place where you, your family and your friends can share memories, images and stories to create a fitting tribute to the memory of your loved one.

Traidcraft works for greater trade justice by providing people in the developing world with the skills and knowledge they need to work themselves out of poverty. The knowledge and skills are passed from person to person, and will cascade down through generations.

About The Traidcraft Foundation

Your Traidcraft Tribute Fund

Help the fight against poverty by creating a Tribute Fund to celebrate the life of someone you love.  Halima Khatun, pictured above with her children, spent years picking tea and then managed to save to buy her own land. Initially she started planting sugar cane and rice, but with support and advice from Traidcraft, she made the decision to grow tea. Tea bushes have a lifespan of about forty years, so the plants she’s growing now could not only provide income for herself and her husband but her children and grandchildren too.

If you decide you would like to use your tribute page to make a donation, perhaps remembering a special occasion or by raising sponsorship through taking part in an event, you can create a lasting legacy that will help Traidcraft work towards a world where trade is just and individuals, families and communities can flourish together.

About Traidcraft

Traidcraft has been a leading organisation fighting poverty through trade for more than thirty years, seeking to establish greater trade justice, giving people and communities the means to realise their hopes and dreams. Our vision is simple: a world freed from the scandal of poverty, where trade is just and people and communities flourish.

People often prefer....

…to ask for donations to a charity instead of flowers at a funeral. We can provide leaflets if you would like to do this.

Time is one of the most valuable gifts of all. There are lots of ways to get involved including fundraising, campaigning and spreading the word.

Your support will help Traidcraft to work with more people in East Africa and Asia so that they can work towards a brighter future for themselves, their families and their communities.

A £30 gift could help women like Ngina to improve their farming skills so that their families can flourish.

 Dulal with his daughter

A £15 gift could help a family like Tahmina's so she can stay in school.
